What is the point of running an award-winning interiors blog if you can’t give a shout out to your Brighton besties every once in a while. Today, I want to showcase my friend Hannah (the beautiful model below) and her talented partner Mark, AKA Curly Mark. Mark makes Perspex art which has quickly become my latest obsession
Let me give you the tour of my fav pieces of his work.
Meet Hannah and Mark
Hanna and Mark live in an amazing cottage deep in the Sussex countryside with their two boys, Sol and Sunny.
This duo are both established artists (Hannah is a painter) and Mark produces the coolest art made out of colourful Perspex. His work instantly add cool to your walls.
Oh, and everything Mark makes bespoke is completely unique with an affordable price-tag.

The Inspiration
Mark’s background is in Graphic Design and Illustration. I think you can tell that from these wall hangings. He lived in both Brighton and Berlin and was taken by the amazing street art in these two cities.
He spent years drawing pictures and designing logos for others, then set up his own company creating Perspex art. It totally took off. If you wander around the bars and cool shops of Brighton, you can spot his work hanging up.
Mark creates limited editions Perspex art to order from his studio in Sussex. He uses laser and blade cutting to make skulls, pineapples and logos in a mix of Perspex, vinyl and wood.
I’ve not seen anything like these before, have you?

Fill Your Walls With Perspex Art
Kinda show stopping stuff isn’t it? I can see a lot of my blogging mates loving his work. My personal fav…I think I’m torn between the Rock N Roll one, the Bee and the Lobster….or maybe all three.
With bespoke pieces starting from £130 they are affordably prices. I think one would make a great gift for a tricky-to-buy for person. It would totally blow their socks off when they unwrap a giant Perspex pineapple!
If you want to know more then contact Mark directly via his website www.curlymark.com (he’s dead friendly). He’ll chat through your ideas to make you something extra-special for your walls.
I’ve got so many talented friends just like Hannah and Mark, that I’m going to have to start doing more posts like this. I have shown you around a few of my fav independent shops in Brighton – and Hove – like Wick, Unlimited and Workshop. But I should do more as it’s nice to be in a position to spread the word!
Don’t forget to pin the picture below to save this post to Pinterest so you’ll never loose it.
Have a great week. Love Maxine
