My 10 best buys from PIB-Home

I love discovering a new shop! It’s wonderstore of #vintagenotvintage homewares that you are going to die for. I was mooching on the internet (as you do) when PIB-Home popped up. Boom! That was my afternoon was gone in a haze of internet shopping. There was so much on their site that I wanted, that I’m not 100% sure how I managed to hone it down to 10 items.

Pip-Home are brand spanking new to the UK (although they have been going since 2010 in France). They track down modern pieces which looks and feels like vintage furniture.

They have three collections: Industrial, Scandinavian and Boho Shabby Chic – the most popular home interior looks for 2017. I’ve pulled out 10 items from across the trends which I think sit really well together in a modern home.

Here we go!

Retro Telephone Table

All hail the return of the telephone table – known as the Londress bench drawer / £275. Perfect for sitting on to take your shoes off and for stashing away unopened bills.

Industrial Storage

How many hours have you spent on eBay looking for something like this? Problem solved in a click with these Warhos cabinet drawers / £295

Cool Hang-Out Lighting

This light is made from solid wood! The contrast between the blue painted shade and the red cord is spot on. Blue Terry // £75

The New Cocktail Cabinet

If your love of cocktails knows no end, then you’ll be lusting after this Messinki bottle cabinet // £665. Room to house all your vino and gin, and a door to hide away your mess. Them legs are just too cute!

Alternative Display

I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had to hunt down a set of vintage looking ladders for magazine shoot. What I like about the Eight-Step Studio ladders // £200 is they would look as good in my garden as in my house.

Scandi Style

I have never seen anything like this before, have you? It’s a disk coat hook that would look perfectly in place in your hallway or in a guest bedroom. Varnished disks on leather straps would be fab for bathroom towels too. Billund coat rack // £129

Instant Vintage Chair

It was the turquoise colour of this distressed chair that caught my eye. Although ‘officially’ it is a dining chair, I would be tempted to pop it in my bedroom at my dressing table. Bistro chair // £159

Kid’s Rooms Only

Shelving that will appeal to kids and to grown-ups. The Pahkina // £668 would look super cool in an open-plan living space don’t you think?

The Statement Desk

I’d want to work every day at home with this bobbly knobbly Katalina desk // £285. Why do I not own this already?

Show Off Storage

My home is filled with lots of little trinkets and bits and bobos – otherwise knows as clutter. This Wall Cabinet // £295 would be just peachy for transforming my stuff into a stylish display.
What do you think of my top 10? Bet one of these items has set your heart racing.

I’ve purchased a certain-something-something which is not on my list above – I want to keep it a surprise. It’s is currently being delivered to my home.  They have their own hashtag #ProudofPIB which I’ll be using on my Instagram to show off my latest purchase.

What on my list got your heart racing? I’d loved to know of this Autumnal day. Share in the box below.

Have a great day.

Maxine
