I’m Maxine Brady, an interior stylist Brighton based, art director and shoot producer with 27 years’ experience creating beautiful, story-led imagery for brands, magazines and TV productions across Brighton, London, Sussex and the wider UK, and internationally when the brief calls for it.
From Magazine Junior to Leading Interior Stylist
I got my first break as a junior at Period Living magazine, fell completely in love with the world of interiors, and never looked back. I went on to head up the style desk at House Beautiful for six years, planning and producing shoots across the world before going freelance and never once regretting it.
27 Years of Shoots, Brands and Big Projects
As a Brighton interior stylist working regularly across London and the wider UK, I’ve worked on everything. Magazine cover shoots for Real Homes, Good Homes, Ideal Home, House Beautiful, Country Homes and Interiors and Coast. Major brand campaigns for IKEA, Dulux, The White Company, La Redoute, French Connection and Brita. Press events for global names including the European launch of luxury Indian beauty brand Kama Ayurveda at Carousel in London.
I’ve styled the Dream Home at the Ideal Home Show and the Show Home at the Grand Designs Show. I’ve packed six suitcases of props into a taxi to Gatwick and flown to Muscat to style the five-star Shangri-La hotel in Oman.
I’ve art directed TV shows including Grand Designs, This Morning, Kirsty’s Homemade Home and Gok’s Fill Your House For Free, and hosted my own primetime Channel 5 show, Incredible Christmas Trees and How To Decorate Them.

Styling, Video and Social Media Content — All Under One Roof
Alongside my styling work, I create and produce my own video content, shooting, directing and editing Instagram Reels and social media videos that are built to perform. I’ve grown my own Instagram account to 96k followers with an engagement rate that runs at four to six times the industry average, which means I understand instinctively what makes an image or video stop someone mid-scroll. For brands who need not just beautiful stills but content that’s ready to post, I can deliver both, styled, shot and edited to brief.

I’m based in Brighton in a peppermint Victorian terrace that I’ve been slowly and lovingly renovating myself, and I work regularly across London, Sussex and the wider UK. I also travel internationally for the right project.
