How To Give Your Home A Nordic Country Christmas Look

Discover how to give your Christmas home a Nordic look with these style tips from Interior Stylist Maxine Brady from WeLoveHomeBlog

One key Christmas trend for 2015 that has appealed to me most is a very simple, natural look – I’m calling it ‘Nordic Country’ as it reminds me of country walks in the snow. I’ve started gathering twigs and leafy ferns for my house picked up from walks with Teddy.  If you love this look, you can shop it below. For more ideas on where to shop this Christmas – take a look at my brand {new} spanking new shop over here which has lots of buys and gifts hand selected by me for loved ones.

The best part of the build up to Christmas (for me) is decorating my home. I set aside a whole day to give my home a Christmas facelift. I pop cheesy Christmas music (yes, Frank Sinatra is on there) and rummage around in my loft for my baubles, and spent hours sprinkling glitter and sparkle around my home. This ‘New Nordic Look; is a more grown up look for me this year.

In the past, I’ve been drawn to total tat (ha ha) – I’m banishing tinsel this year and am now buying decorations that will last.  I don’t go crazy at Christmas but I’m always on the lookout for a little trinket for my home. Something that will make it feel extra special. That is why I have collected these lovely bits below in my new shop.

SHOP NORDIC COUNTRY

Inspired by these shots above from the most stylish shop Angel At my Table, I’ve pulled together a few key items myself which are for sale in my very own new little shop WeLoveHomeShop. Simply click the +buy button on the products below to add them to your cart.

Do you love this look as much as me? I’d love to know.
