New Work: Styling The Home Shores Bathroom Trend for Triton

Triton got in touch to set myself and Gemma a challenge…to style two on trend bathroom using their new electric showers. But there was a twist..we didn’t know what the other interior stylist was creating. And the end results would all be revealed on camera and share across our social media accounts! Think of it as bathroom TV.

I was given the new interior trend for 2024 called Home Shores – and I knew I wanted to flex my interior design skills and my home decor styling know-how to create a WOW bathroom which would stand out across the media and appear in lots of magazine shoots generating lots of press & pr for the Triton brand.

Here’s the trend report for the Home Shores Trend

I was given the interior trend Home Shores which is a modern twist for 2024 on the coastal trend for bathroom. Think blue skies, deck chair stripes, organic shapes and lots of coral motifs. The trend was based upon a report which predicts what colours and styles will be big for our homes in the year head.

This was the perfect trend for me a love sea swimming, soft pastels and natural shapes – which features through out my interior styling work.

Creating a Vision board for Home Shores Bathroom Trend

I want to share my thinking behind creating my Triton bathroom. plus final shots from the photoshoot with you today. You can also see the bathroom makeover process on my instagram account here. Don’t forget to give my account a follow.

The starting point for all my projects is creating a mood board. I choose a calming colour pallet of soft blues and baby pinks. And added in touches that reminded me of the British sea side like stripes and checks, hand painted ceramics and organic shapes.

I pulled together some inspirational ideas on how I wanted my bathroom to look based on the trend report with tile options, textures, accessories…plus of course the Danzi shower from Triton.

My Bathroom design For Triton

Inspired by the coral print, I decided that my bathroom would feature the following:

  • Huge hand painted mural that would make a bold impression in the room
  • Square blue tiles with pink grout for a fresh way to add colour into a bathroom
  • Lots of ceramic art to hand hang on the walls like sculptures and plates
  • Wooden flooring for a natural earthy tone
  • Large shower enclosure

As part of the project, I actually practiced the coral design in my home to make sure it was picture perfect on the day. The set was designed by me including all the set design which was done in a studio near Birmingham.

the end result

I’m really pleased with how the bathroom turned out. This was all done in a day – including painting, filming and photoshoot! It was a fun project to work on and the results have been amazing on social media and in the press. The brand are super happy too.
