look at the Christmas interior styling for Moda Living
The Brief
As a stylist, Christmas interior styling is always a busy time of year. This holiday season, my colleague Gemma Gear and I (who both work in Brighton, Sussex and London) were asked to create an inspiring, festive concept for Moda Living.
Moda Living builds and manages luxury rental apartments, and Hove is their latest project which is beautiful designed. Our styling brief was to showcase the high-end services offered to residents, while sharing our top tips for creating an unforgettable holiday celebration.
Using the latest Christmas trends, we came up with the idea of styling the room in bright and bold decorations that would pack a punch.
The Concept
The vision was to design and style a festive table top that highlighted Moda Living’s private dining room, while adding lots of fun renter-friendly details into the mix. We styled a vibrant, colourful setting that would feel both modern and celebratory — perfect for ringing in the New Year!
We focused on bold neon blues, fiery reds, electric pinks, and oranges, creating a striking contrast with the sleek, contemporary design of the room. Hanging disco balls, fringing, and glimmering baubles added a playful touch above the table, setting the perfect party vibe.
The Styling Process
We began by creating mood boards packed with Christmas interior styling ideas . Then, we brought our ideas to life with a mix of carefully selected decorations, including hot-pink fringing from Meri Meri, metallic paper chains, and beautiful baubles.
For the table itself, we layered colourful linens and a runner from Dunelm and my personal stash of napkins. The tableware was a mix of pieces from the Eleanor Bowmer & Rockett St George ranges at Next, alongside Moda Living’s own homeware collection.
The Final Look
The end result was a vibrant and festive dining setup, that was so bold in its colour and packed with lots of take-away details. It was the perfect showcase of Moda Living’s stylish interiors, ready for an unforgettable Christmas party. We’re thrilled to have it featured on the cover of their in-house magazine and a huge spread inside too.
