I'm up for an #IBA17 award! And I need your votes

It’s only bloody gone and happened again. Yep, that’s right DIY lovers – WeLoveHome has been nominated for a glossy Amara Award #IBA17 for the 3rd year running. WAAYHAAY! But that’s just the first step. I need YOUR VOTES to get shortlisted!

This year, I’m nominated for best Best DIY + Home Improvement Blog. I’m not going to lie to you – it’s going to be even tougher to get shortlisted. There are over 40+ amazing blogs from around the world in my category. That’s why I am unashamedly begging you to vote for me. I even did this shoot on the streets of Brighton under the most perfect Graffiti for this occasion. That’s how much I want you to vote for me.

What does this award stuff actually mean to a blogger?

Last year, you lovely lot voted for me and as a result I was shortlisted for Best Interior Stylist Blog. Which was flippin’ awesome. No doubt about it. I got to go to a fancy awards do, meet Olly Murs, hang out with other bloggers and danced the night way in London town. Thank you! Thank you! (Not going to lie, I had a two day hangover afterwards).

Being shortlisted shined a light on WeLoveHomeBlog – more like a sunbeam actually – and as a result, I think my blog has improved so so much. With the award, I’ve been asked to do lots of cool stuff with some amazing interior companies which I’ve shared on here. I’ve been cherry-picked for exciting blogging + styling projects. And most importantly it spread the word about what we do best at WeLoveHome – lots of  juicy home stuff. Being shortlisted last year was officially the ‘cat’s pyjamas’.

The deadline is 15th September (EKK!). And I’ll find out if I’m shortlisted on the 18th.

What’s in it for you? If you loved my Tiled Staircase Vlog then you’ll enjoy my vlogs on my garden and on living space makeover. If you adore DIY posts – what fool doesn’t?  Then I promised to do more them including silly poses for my photos (who could forget my Charlie’s Angel’s pose in Girl Power! And if we don’t get shortlisted, well at least we gave it a dam good try – which is the motto here at WeLoveHome!
