This is a little flashback to the time that my home was fatured on leading on-line danish interior design magazine – iboligen.dk. I was completely thrilled as this website is filled with beautiful homes – which they editors have gathered in one place. It’s very scandi in style and is great if you love that paired back nordic look for your home.
Their aim is to make to help readers from around the world by giving them choice and ideas inspired by stylists, bloggers and photographers – by featuring their homes. How nice to spot my home in there, then!
‘In Maxine’s renovated house, she has no rules and she has filled her space with creative ideas and love for smart design.’
They interviewed me about my home style and where I find things for my home. Here’s a small snipet from the post:
What are your three best interior shopping tips?
1. When shopping, make sure you have photos of your home on your smart phone. That way when shopping, if you see something that you think may want to buy you can check your home photos to decided if it will go with your style (or not).
2. Keep the measurements of your home on the notes section of your phone. Always take a tape measure out with you when you go shopping for large house items. Then you can double check if the furniture will fit into your apartment or house.
3. You can style your home no matter how small your budget. Look for in second-hand stores, flea markets or websites like eBay. The advantage of buying cheap furniture is that you can buy something completely new without spending heaps.
I’ve put the link to the full feature here for you. It contains more pictures of my home and details of where all my home decor came from.
I hope you like it! You may need to use google translate 🙂
Love
