Exciting news alert – I’m proud to say my garden makeover is not only appear in Real Homes magazine in their new look issue BUT it was also on the cover of Good Homes magazine. WOO HOO!
My garden has had a few transformations. When I moved in it was completely overgrown with weeds and shale. You can see that HERE what it was like when I moved in.
I had this bright idea of putting down grass which as you can tell, did not work out well for me. The garden was always waterlogged and the dog peeing on it left burn patches. You can see the video of that HERE on my youtube channel.
After a few years of saving – well actually, I worked my arse off on a TV show to pay for it. My garden was paved over and filled with flowers inspired by a recent trip to see the gardens of Morocco. It’s been a long labour of love but it has been totally worth it. You can see what garden looked this Summer over HERE.
As you know, I’m in an interior stylist and journalist, so my main job is to style and write for magazines. I spoke to the editors of Good Homes, the lovely Karen and then Beth from Real Homes and told them about my garden project. Both of them were keen to feature me.
My garden appeared on the cover of of Good Homes magazine! I was posing on the front of the maga š
Then this summer after a few tweaks and changes, my garden appeared in Real Homes magazine. Real Homes featured me in their small spaces issue which was just perfect. Nothing like seeing our home in a magazine to give you a great sense of achievement.
As an interior stylist, I’m always on the hunt for lovely homes to appear in magazines. If you think your home may look great as a feature, then please send me a message.
Have a great day x
